TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. These terms and conditions of business are between Kathy Chadd Recruitment Ltd (KCR) and the Client.
2. Part of our recruitment process may include advertising in the media. However, company names are withheld. The cost of advertising will be at your own expense and will be the actual cost charge by the media to ourselves.
3. The interviewing of an applicant introduced by KCR will be deemed as acceptance by the Client of the Terms and Conditions specified. 4. The Client agrees to notify KCR immediately an engagement is accepted and to pay the fee in full once the employee has been employed for 3 calendar months. A late payment fee of 2% per month will be added, pro-rata, daily. 5. All introductions are confidential and the passing on of an introduction to any other parties which may result in a permanent or temporary recruitment renders the Client liable to payment of our fees set out in item 6. 6. The introduction fee for the permanent placement through KCR is calculated on the annual commencing gross salary at the rate of 12% plus VAT. 7. Should the relevant employment terminate within a 3 calendar month period the employee will be replaced without charge on the original terms, assuming:
7.1. That the recruit has not left due to the Client being in breach of the Employment Act(s) as in force at the current time. 7.2. That should the Client, or any subsidiary or associated company of the Client, subsequently re-engage the applicant within the period of 6 months from the date of termination, a full fee in accordance with item 4 becomes payable immediately. 8. Should a member or former member of our temporary staff be directly engaged by the Client (either during or any time within 12 months after termination of a temporary engagement with such Client), the Client must notify KCR of the date of commencement and pay the appropriate permanent engagement fee or settlement as may be negotiated. In such cases no rebates will, in any circumstances, be allowed since it is considered that during the temporary employment the Client and the Employee have had the opportunity of confirming their mutual suitability. 9. Whilst every effort is made by KCR to maintain high standards of integrity and reliability among our recruits, KCR assumes no liability for any loss, expense, damage or delay arising from any failure, dishonesty, misconduct or lack of skill of the placements provided. 10. Not withstanding all of the above, the Client shall satisfy itself as to the suitability of any placement and shall be responsible for obtaining references, work and other permits, examination and/or investigations into the medical history and other requirements or qualifications as may be required by the Client or the Law.
11. No alteration or variation can made to these terms without the written consent of the Directors of KCR.
